WalkInto Inc. (“WalkInto”, “us”, “we”, and/or “our”) operates walkinto.in website and platform (“Service”).

The Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”) when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms, available on walkinto.in

Information we collect from you and how we use it

Account and Registration Information

You can register and log into WalkInto using Google single sign-in services. This service will authenticates your identity, and provide us with your name, email address and your Google Profile image. We also capture your location information as part of registration with WalkInto. We use your name and email to communicate with you.

Your WalkInto portfolio page

You may provide your website, as well your social profiles for facebook, twitter, G+, these appear on your public WalkInto portfolio page along with your name and location that was captured during the registration.

Customer Invoice

You may provide your address as well your TAX/VAT number that gets displayed on the customer invoice you generate in WalkInto for your customers.

Payment and transaction information

A third-party service Stripe is used to manage payment processing. Stripe is not permitted to store, retain, or use your billing information for any purpose except for credit card processing on our behalf. You can find their privacy policy here: https://stripe.com/us/privacy

Support/Inquiries

When you submit an inquiry via the Services, we may ask for your first and last name, email address and certain other information from time to time. We request this information for identification purposes, and to communicate with you regarding your inquiry. If you provide your phone number, we may use that information to call/message you directly to relating to our product and services. All the information you share in the inquiry is stored in our internal systems to aid relevant communication with you as well for future reference.

Image, audio, video other rich media uploaded to WalkInto servers

You could upload images, audio, video or other rich media to WalkInto servers so that you could use those in your tours. If this uploaded data contains any personal information, you have the sole responsibility of sharing this content and any consequences arising out of it. If you do not wish to publicly display personal information depicted in the content you upload, you should refrain from capturing such personal information in your uploaded content.

IP addresses

We capture your IP address during the registration process and log it in our system to keep a track of registrations requests received as well to help identify you and to gather broad location and demographic information.

Other Submissions

We ask for and may collect personal information from you when you submit web forms or participation in surveys, contests, promotions, sweepstakes, requesting customer support, or otherwise communicating with us.

Logs

As is true with most websites and services delivered over the Internet, we gather certain information and store it in log files when you interact with our Service. This information includes URLs of referring/exit pages, browser, operating system, date/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences. Occasionally, we connect personal information to information gathered in our log files as necessary to improve our Service. In such a case, we would treat the combined information in accordance with this Policy.

These cookies record your visit to our website. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms Targeting Cookies and Tracking Pixels are interchangeable. We will use this information to make the advertising displayed on other websites, and the marketing messages sent to you more relevant to your interests. We share this information with third parties who provide a service to us for this purpose.

Third party cookies

Please be aware that advertisers and other third parties may use their own cookies tags when you click on an advertisement or link on our website or when you embed content on your tours from other website or service providers. These third parties are responsible for setting out their own cookie and privacy policies.

When you embed WalkInto tour on another website, WalkInto won't show its privacy policy dialogue, however the host website must show its own Privacy Policy consent notification which should contain or refer to WalkInto's Privacy policy.

Contacting you for marketing/advertising

From time to time, we may contact you with information about our products and services. Most marketing messages we send will be by email. For some marketing messages, we may use personal information we collect about you to help us determine the most relevant marketing information to share with you. If you do not want to receive marketing messages from us, you will be able to tell us by by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing emails or logging into your account on our website and changing your preferences.

Sharing your collected information

WalkInto will not share, rent, sell or otherwise disclose any of the personal information that we collect about you, except when we have your permission or in any of the following situations.

We share information, including personal information, with our third-party service providers that we use to provide hosting for and maintenance of our Service, application development, backup, storage, payment processing, analytics and other services for us. Our servers are located in EU. We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information, once we receive it. For example, we continuously and regularly back up your data to help prevent data loss and aid in data recovery. No method of electronic transmission of storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit or store in the Service.

In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, WalkInto will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Your Privacy Rights

You have a right to be informed of Personal Information processed by WalkInto, a right to rectification/correction, erasure, and restriction of processing. You also have the right to receive from WalkInto a structured, common and machine-readable format of Personal Information you provided to us. We can only identify you via your email address and we can only adhere to your request and provide information if we have Personal Information about you through you have made contact with us directly and/or you using our Service. An individual who seeks access to, or who seeks to correct or, amend inaccuracies in, or delete personal information stored or processed by us on behalf of our users or customers should direct his/her query to the user/customer (the data controller). Upon receipt of a request from one of our users or customers for us to remove the data, we will respond to their request within thirty (30) days. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct or update our records. For our records, we may retain original and updated information for reasons such as technical constraints, dispute resolution, troubleshooting, and agreement enforcement.

This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of personal information collected from you by WalkInto. You should be aware that when you are using the Services, you may also use or be directed to other websites, applications or services of third parties that are beyond our control, and WalkInto is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or the content of their websites, applications or services. We encourage you to read the posted privacy policy whenever interacting with any third party website, application or service.

Personal information of a child user

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Our Services are intended for use by a general audience, and no part of our Services is directed to children under 13. Parents and guardians have an obligation to inform their minor children about safe and responsible handling of personal data. Exclusions

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data collected by WalkInto other than Personal Data collected through the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Services, such as blog post comments (collectively, “Public Areas”), any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and WalkInto shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution.
